Cut or Back Door — Forwards

Starting position

The same choice the backs make, played in a phone box. Two defenders on the white dots, a relay man feeding, three forwards launching off the blue cones. The carrier reads the defence and calls it: they drift apart, hit the cut; they shoot up tight, play the back door. The spacing between the three has to become automatic — under pressure you stop hunting for your team-mates and only look for holes.
